Anachnu Kaan ( We are here) Jewish artists in Vilna in 1956 ( singers, musicians, actors and dancers ) established a troop who preformed in Yiddish and Hebrew. In 1971 many were able to immigrate to Israel and reestablish the troop there.

The Vilna Ghetto or Vilnius Ghetto was a Jewish ghetto established by Nazi Germany in the city of Vilnius in the occupied Lithuanian Soviet Socialist Republic (nowVilnius, Lithuania), during the Holocaust in World War II.
