Do you have any other information on; Reuven/ Romek Birnboim
Romek was born in Krakow on June 1, 1919 to Menachem Mendel and Hinda.
He attended a school in Krakow and later helped his father in the
painting business. The was the only holocaust survivor of his family.
In the spring of 1946 he joined a camp of survivors attempting to
immigrate to Israel. After coming to Israel he joined Kibutz Kfar
Masrik. During the independence war he joined the IDF. Romak Birnboim
was killed on the 17th of April, 1948. He was 29 years old. More

Description: Does anyone recognize this girl? She was a hidden child in Krakow, Poland, during WWII, her surname was alledgedly something like KELLER/KNELLER/KNOLLER. The photo was taken during WWII (presumably 1942 or 1943) and by way of a middleman sent to her mother and grandmother who was in the Sosnowiec ghetto.. After the war she was sent to the Jewish Orphanage: Wojewodzki Komitet Zydowski (address: Ulica Dluga 38, Krakow). Any and all information will be greatly appreciated.
