Zvi was born in Shavli in 1902
he was an active member of Maccabi in Shavli. In 1941 he was arrested by the Soviets and exiled to Siberia for Zionist activities. He was freed in 1960, he continued to struggle for permission to leave for Israel. He came to Israel in 1966. Zalman Mozalis

Born in 1914 in Shavli, Lithuania. He became an active Zionist at an early age. Was a member of Meir Grosman's movement, Mifleget Ha-Medina. After the Soviet occupation of Lithuania (1940) he was arrested and served his sentence in the Krasnojarsk labour camp and in Tataria. Released in 1955, he came to Israel 2 years later, in 1957. Died in 1962.
