Jay Rabunsky was a first cousin once removed of Shimon Peres. The mother of his father was a sister of Shimon Peres's father. Jay told me that the Shulkin/
Shulken family was the family of his grandmother ( from his mother's
side) I see that I put a note in her geni portrait: "I spoke to Bronia (later
wife of Paul Chosid) she told me that she first met the Chosid family at the wedding of
Rose (Paul's sister) with Zeev Rabunski ( parents of Jay). The wedding took place at the
Shulkins house in Vilna. Paul and Roses' mother was from the Shulkin
family." so this is the connection with Shulkin family.

 I wrote to Shmuel BenTovim; I added some information from the Yad Vashem reports for your
grandfathers' sister (Dvora Shulkin) and her family as well as
pictures and information from the Doginovo Yizkor book for Greshon '
brother. Much is written about the bravery of the Shulkin family from
Dolginovo during the holocaust. 
 Jay Rabunski Z"L told me that they were cousins of the Shulkin
family from Dolginovo and Vilna from the side of Sara, the mother of his mother.
