when the Germans Killed the Jews of his shtetl . Leon Rubin escaped to
The forest with his family. They survived the hardship and returned to
Dolhinov after the area was liberated in 1944.
Leon attended the University in Vilna and later immigrated to Israel.
He organized the restoration of the cemetery in Dolhinov. This days he
leads "roots tours" to eastern Europe.
