sent here in 1921 at the age of 15 years. He was already an orphan,

(then) rich family member for everyone to come to America. No one
wanted to come, only Chaim, so he was sent

up until a few years ago did some research, found out about when and
where my father arrived and also received a copy of the ship that he
came on, etc. My dear father who is gone since 1972 was 15 years old

very hard time here in America.

Thank you for the info & photo page about Bransk. My grandfather was from
Bransk. He was born about 1890 (Abram Ruchamkin) and came to the U.S. about
1910 (Abraham Richman). One of the names on the Brainsker honor roll
picture #17 is my father's first cousin Sidney Fox. In addition my father's
uncle Julies Cohen, I believe, wrote the Yizkor book. I believe that book
was destroyed in a fire at my aunt's home. I cannot read Hebrew. Maybe
sometime there will be an English translation of the Yizkor book. I would
like to be on your e-mail list regarding information about Bransk.
RICHMAN

Khaim Todres of Birzai married Sheina Dvorsk. Their son, Itsyk Chaim Liunas
Lun (born in about 1864) married Bryna Garrenblum in either Birzai or
Raguva. Itsyk died in Panevezys on 24 February 1929.

might you know if our trees
are in any way linked?
